ROB GREEN - Director - Asia Pacific,
Rob joined CML in March 2006 to oversee legal recruitment for the offshore jurisdictions.
Originally from London, Rob earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in International Marketing from The University of Greenwich. Following his studies, Rob worked as a Marketing Manager for the Surrey office of RWE Energy. He later accepted a recruitment position with Badenoch & Clark Recruitment in the city of London.
In March, 2006, Rob moved to Grand Cayman to commence a recruitment position with CML. In a short period of time, Rob has established CML's legal recruitment department as a key industry partner, working closely with the most respected law firms in the offshore market. Rob is now heading up our newly launched Hong Kong office.
Rob's enthusiasm for his work is matched only by his enthusiasm for playing sports, travelling and enjoying good food and wine.

MICHAEL BURBIDGE - Recruitment Consultant, Originally born in Melbourne, Australia, Michael spent much of his childhood growing up in Hong Kong and Malaysia. Michael later returned to Australia where he graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Economics.
In 1999, Michael moved to London and began his career as a recruitment consultant. His ability to easily interact with people of all different backgrounds allowed him to quickly excel in this field.
In February 2004, Michael moved to Grand Cayman after hearing about the climate and career opportunities that the island has to offer. As a member of the CML's Legal Recruitment Team, Michael brings a thorough understanding of the recruitment process and over 8 years of recruitment and contract negotiation experience.
A keen sportsman and diehard Melbourne Demons supporter (Aussie Rules Football), Michael spends his spare time scuba diving, playing golf and tennis and jogging on the beach. In between work and sports, Michael spends his time wondering when he can squeeze in another backpacking trip.

MARIA HENRY - Legal Recruitment Consultant,
Originally from the UK, Maria graduated from Kingston-Upon-Thames with a BSc. (Hons) in Bioanalytical Chemistry. After graduation Maria spent several years working as a chemist, before starting her recruitment career over 12 years ago with a multi-national recruitment firm in London. After two very successful years in a general recruitment role, Maria transitioned her career to a more specialized recruitment model and has spent the last 10 years working within the Accounting and Legal arenas. She has a wealth of experience recruiting for a diverse range of clients including the Royal Household at Buckingham Palace.
Maria relocated to Toronto in July 2001 after being chosen as one of 12 top recruiters from over 5000 to start a North American division for her previous company. After seven very successful years recruiting for top firms in Canada, Maria got fed up of the snow and headed South to Cayman.
Maria joined CML in 2008 as part of the legal team. Her strength in building and managing successful business partnerships and providing a tailor-made approach to each client has proved to be a significant factor in the continuing development and growth of the Legal Team. Her passion for what she does and her personal approach in delivering a quality service has enabled Maria to quickly establish herself as one of Cayman’s preferred recruiters.
Outside of work, Maria can be found spending time with her family snorkeling and swimming, walking her dog on one of Cayman’s many beaches or sailing around the island soaking up the sun.
Julie Ackerman - Legal Assistant
Julie joined CML in March 2008 to join our Legal Recruitment Team. She is responsible for all administrative duties and is also involved in the South African marketing projects.
Originally from Durban, South Africa, Julie's completing her final year LLB (Law) through the University of South Africa. Julie has spent 3 years travelling the globe which included living and working in London, San Diego, Toronto and New York and finally settling in the beautiful Cayman Islands. Julie has previously worked for companies such as Deloitte, Deutsche Bank and Appleby's.
In her spare time she enjoys scuba diving, motocross and lying on the beach soaking up the Caribbean sun with friends.
